Analisis Tindakan Perawatan Yang Dilakukan Pada Pasien Dengan Phlebitis Di RSUD PROF DR. Margono Soekardjo Purwokerto

Intravenous therapy is commonly used to treat patients and it is received through a peripheral cannula by most hospitalized patients. A consequence of intravenous (IV) devices is that risk of nosocomial infection is increased, particularly septicemia. Inflammation, hard vein and thrombophlebitis, and local tenderness are common complication of IV therapy. This can lead to enhanced morbidity and mortality rates. Some treatments to cure phlebitis patients have been done to eradicate phlebitis patients during hospital stay. However, mostly phlebitis treatments have not been standardized as procedure at hospital. Therefore, this study will analyse nurses\u27 treatment when they are performing phlebitis patient care that mostly done at Margono Soekardjo Hospital. The purpose of the study was to analyse nurses\u27 treatment when caring phlebitis patients that mostly were done at medical and surgical ward Margono Soekardjo Hospital of Purwokerto This study utilized survey. Of 38 nurses at Teratai and Asoka wards at Margono Soekardjo Hospital were involved in this study. Respondents were chosen by quaote sampling method. Criteria of respondents were nurses at surgical ward who have graduated from DIII nursing with 1 year experience in clinical setting The study show that nurses tend to elevated phlebitis area to cure phlebitis as the first choice at (26%), furthermore, by warm compress and range of motion of the area of phlebitis have the second and the third rank at (23%) and (18%) respectivel

Kebijakan Pembangunan dan Kesejahteraan Masyarakat: Belajar dari Kabupaten Tangerang

Pembangunan merupakan upaya Perubahan menuju peningkatan kehidupan yang diinginkan. Tanpa adanya pembangunan, tidak mungkin suatu negara atau daerah dapat memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat akan kesejahteraan. Sebelum era reformasi, daerah tidak memiliki keleluasaan untuk melaksanakan pembangunan yang bermanfaat bagi masyarakat. Kini, daerah memiliki otonomi untuk menjalankan pembangunan atas dasar potensi dan kreativitas yang dimiliki. Tulisan ini membahas dan menjawab permasalahan mengenai kebijakan apa yang diambil pemerintah kabupaten Tangerang yang mempunyai dampak pada peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Tulisan ini disusun berdasarkan kajian dan review literatur. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kepustakaan. Berdasarkan data dan pembahasan diperoleh simpulan bahwa kebijakan pembangunan pemerintah kabupaten Tangerang berpihak kepada masyarakat, yang ditunjukkan melalui program-program pro-rakyat, seperti bantuan dana bergulir bagi UMKM, gebrak sikumis, gebrak sipintar, serta satu kecamatan satu produk

Konversi Lahan Pertanian ke Non-pertanian : Fungsi Ekologis yang Terabaikan

Indonesia had always been known as an agricultural country, because most of the population of Indonesia worked as a farmer. The agricultural sector is suspected to contribute to the Gross Domestic Product and has a strategic role in the Indonesian economy. Not only has that, done in a sustainable agriculture also had an invaluable ecological function. But the sustainability of agriculture is threatened due to the function of the rapidly growing industrial activities that encourage the transfer function of agricultural land. Some things such as government policy to privatize the development of industrial areas, policies that encourage large-scale residential development, investment and deregulation policies. The impact of policies over the functions of agricultural land, which is reduced which causes the vast fi elds of  rice  production  decreased  and  in  turn  threaten  the  self-suffi ciency  in  food,  rising unemployment, investment  in  irrigation  abandoned,  increasing  non-productive  agricultural  land  and  the  decline  of wetland ecosystems and land. Governments seek to control the issuing of Act No. 41 of 2009, but seem less successful to overcome the desire of investors to converted agricultural land into industrial zones and housing. Kontribusi Modal Sosial dalam Meningkatkan Kesejahteraan Pedagang Kaki Lima Pascarelokasi

This article discusses the contribution of social capital to the welfare of street vendors (PKL). The study was conducted in the city of Semarang. The subject of study is the street vendors in Menteri Soepeno Street Semarang. Semarang city government relocate the street vendors in the area from Jalan Pahlawan to Menteri Supeno as part of its effort to realize the Semarang city as a center of International trade and services. The result shows the importance of the role of social capital for street traders has to survive in difficult times such as relocation. PKL transferred to the road Soepeno Minister can receive local government policies and adapt socially and economically to the new environment. Social capital, particularly trust and networking contribute to improve the welfare of traders. This study concludes that to improve the welfare of street vendors, the city government needs to support and develop the street vendors social capital.© 2013 Universitas Negeri Semaran

Pengaruh Penggunaan Baffle Pada Shell-and-tube Heat Exchanger

Shell-and-tube heat exchanger is a device commonly used to transfer heat. To enhance the heat transfer occurred and to support the tubes inside the shell, baffles are installed. Better heat transfer is obviously expected in a heat exchanger. A research is done to find out the effect of baffle used toward the effectiveness and pressure drop in heat exchanger. The result is that the effectiveness increases when the baffles are installed. Effectiveness increases as the spacing between the baffles is smaller until certain spacing, and then it decreases
